Freelance Graphics Operator
MOOV is one of the UK’s biggest broadcast graphics companies, providing graphics and working alongside companies like News UK, BT Sport, BBC and ITV on a range of sporting, live entertainment and news shows. MOOV are based in the Olympic Park in Stratford and we work on many high-profile events including the UEFA Champions League, Wimbledon Tennis Championships and Olympic Games, as well as working across News output.
Role
Using our graphics interface, you will be providing live graphics for various events. This position will suit someone who has previous gallery or graphics play-out experience and is passionate about technology and learning new skills. Full training on the graphics system will be provided. This role requires regular weekend work and potentially some weekday cover. The majority of the work will be undertaken at the News UK studios in London, and the weekend shifts are 7.00 am – 1.30 pm, however, there will be many opportunities to work at sporting events in the UK and further afield.
Key skills
- The ability to acquire technical skills and understand bespoke applications quickly
- Computer literate and thoroughly competent with Windows operating systems
- Candidates should be intelligent, enthusiastic and inquisitive and be comfortable working in a high-pressure live broadcast environment
